Why this film?
The Mseyas talks on a drama, an injustice. The AIDS and its consequences.
This is the story of a family ruined by the AIDS. A disease that left four orphan, alone.
What did lead me to filming the life of an orphan’s family? The need to do something. The AIDS is devastating Africa. 2 million persons die every year, and there are already more than 11 million orphans. This is the major catastrophe of the XXIst century and does not spend unnoticed.
Because of the AIDS many children in Africa has to live alone. Some of them have the opportunity to live with their uncles, with their grandparents, but others have no chance to live alone. This one is the case of the brothers Mseya. In a moment of the documentary Alberina says:
" The people were commenting very much, but nobody helped us"
His struggle has been constant, without pause. Thanks to the effort they are going out forward...
